Runway Quest is the search for the next Nigeria great fashion designer and supermodel. It is a competition where young and aspiring fashion o say will have the chance to show their creative diversity, ingenuity and design aesthetic. The competition will require the designers to develop one or several pieces of new clothing to be presented at a runway show
Runway Quest is liken to the famous American project runway hosted by supermodel Heidi klum. Needless to mention the level of success the show has recorded in the US, in teams of producing great designers for the fashion industry. Runway Quest seeks to replicate such success in the Nigeria fashion industry.
The ultimate winner will receive 5-million naira seed money to start his/her own design line, a magazine feature spread and a mentorship from a design firm in Nigeria.
The female fashion model attached to the winning designer will receive 1-million naira and coverage in a fashion magazine, featuring the winning designers’ twelve-piece collection as part of her prize.
With Runway Quest the fashion industry is about to witness a whole new level.
